Bhubaneswar: Union home minister Amit Shah will reach the state on a two-day visit starting March 22. He will launch several development projects, official sources said on Wednesday.
On March 22, Shah will inaugurate several development initiatives in Sambalpur designed to accelerate western Odisha’s growth trajectory. The following day, he will visit Bhubaneswar to lay foundation stones for additional infrastructure projects.
Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan will accompany Shah during his visit.
Shah is also scheduled to engage with senior BJP leadership in strategic discussions. State BJP chief Manmohan Samal will coordinate these crucial meetings, which are expected to strengthen the party’s presence in the region, said a BJP spokesperson. TNN
