RRB ALP CBT 2 exam date: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the schedule for the second Computer-Based Test (CBT 2) for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment exam 2024. Meanwhile, the CBT 2 for various other posts, including Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), has been rescheduled. The revised exam dates for JE and related posts will be announced later.
Candidates can check their exam city, date, and travel authority (for SC/ST candidates) through a link that will be activated on RRB websites 10 days before the exam. The e-call letters or admit cards will be available for download four days before the exam, as per the information provided in the exam city and date intimation link.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Vacancy details

The Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment, initially announced for 5,696 vacancies, has been expanded to 18,799 vacancies following additional demands from Zonal Railways. Meanwhile, the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment process includes 7,951 vacancies, comprising 7,934 positions for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, along with 17 vacancies for Chemical Supervisor, Research, and Metallurgical Supervisor roles.
Candidates must undergo biometric verification using their Aadhaar card at the exam center before entry into the examination hall. They must carry either the original Aadhaar card or a printout of an e-verified Aadhaar. Those who have not completed Aadhaar authentication are advised to do so by logging into rrbapply.gov.in with their credentials.
