Chennai: More than 10 passengers travelling by an MTC bus were injured after it crashed into a stationary road roller parked on the Ennore flyover on Friday night, police said.
The bus was on the way to Ennore from Vallalar Nagar, It was approaching Ennore depot when the accident occurred. The crash damaged the left side of the bus completely. The front portion was also completely.
Passengers Sunitha, 19, Dhanalakshmi, 45, and Nargis, 20, who were sitting in the front suffered grievous injuries. A few others suffered minor injuries. They were rushed in an ambulance to Govt Stanley Medical College and Hospital. The Ennore police registered a case. tnn
