Medical officer at Hyderabad’s ayurvedic hospital booked for sexually harassing woman doctor | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: A medical officer at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital in Erragadda, Hyderabad, has been booked for sexually harassing the in-charge superintendent doctor working at the same hospital.
Borabanda police, who are investigating the case, said the accused is currently absconding.
According to the police, the 49-year-old woman, originally deputed to the Government Ayurvedic Hospital at Charminar, was posted to the Erragadda hospital as in charge.
For the past few days, the accused had allegedly been sending her vulgar messages on WhatsApp. Furthermore, on February 17, while the doctor was in her chamber, the accused entered and misbehaved with her, leaving her shocked.
S. Veerashekar, Station House Officer (SHO) of Borabanda, said they are examining the evidence in the case. “Accordingly, the investigation will proceed,” he told TOI on Thursday.
