Man cheats firm of 41.5L under pretext of availing loan | Mumbai News – The Times of India

Mumbai: An engineering company from Bhandup lodged a police complaint against loan advisor Mohammad Zulfiqar Boler and his company, Trident Enterprises. Under the pretext of availing a business loan of Rs 8 crore, they allegedly took Rs 1.5 lakh as advance processing fees and duped the firm of Rs 41.5 lakh.
Bhandup police booked Boler and officials of his company under the IPC sections of cheating, forgery, breach of trust, and threatening. The complainant, Niti Parmesh Yadav, is the proprietor of N.K. Engineering, an engineering firm with a workshop in Asangaon, Thane. According to the FIR, Boler assured them that Yes Bank would sanction the Rs 8 crore loan within 45 days but demanded a 15% commission, amounting to Rs 1.2 crore. An advance payment of Rs 30 lakh was transferred to Boler’s Trident Enterprises account between Dec 2022 and Dec 2023.
