Insurance for auto, taxi drivers – The Times of India

Mumbai: Transport minister Pratap Sarnaik on Thursday announced that auto and taxi drivers over the age of 65 will receive an ‘Honour Fund’ of Rs 10,000 each, provided they meet the necessary conditions. Additionally, the Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Saheb Maharashtra Auto Rickshaw, Meter Taxi Drivers Welfare Board plans to implement health insurance schemes for its member drivers, he said.
