Bhubaneswar: To address grievances at the grassroots level, the National Commission for Women (NCW) will organise a public hearing at Ekamra hall in the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) office on Tuesday from 2 pm.
NCW chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar will attend the event, ‘National Commission for Women — At Your Doorstep’, which aims to provide immediate solutions to issues affecting women. Senior officials, including the district magistrate and superintendent of police, will participate to ensure swift resolution of complaints.
Women from Bhubaneswar and surrounding areas facing any grievance are encouraged to attend and present their cases before the commission. NCW has urged affected women to make use of the opportunity to seek justice and assistance.
