Chennai: PMK plans to invite political parties and social organis0ations to a protest in Chennai demanding the Tamil Nadu govt conduct a caste-wise census.
In a statement on Monday, the party said a resolution to this effect was passed during a meeting chaired by party president and Rajya Sabha MP Anbumani Ramadoss in Chennai.
The release said the 69% reservation in Tamil Nadu faced a great threat from some forces and the cases filed against the reservation policy may come up for hearing in the Supreme Court anytime.
