Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy has directed the municipal administration department officials to complete the cable-stay bridge at Mir Alam Tank within 30 months after preparing the detailed project report within 60 days. The bridge has been proposed as a part of the beautification and development of the area.
The chief minister held a review meeting with the municipal administration department officials on various infrastructure development projects in the city.

He made several suggestions to the officials on the construction of a bridge over the Mir Alam Tank. He said Mir Alam would become a prominent tourist spot, and the bridge surroundings should be designed keeping the safety of children in mind.
Officials briefed the chief minister about three proposals made for the construction of the bridge on the 2.4 km stretch.
The municipal department officials were asked to study the requirement and feasibility of new flyovers needed in the city.
Revanth Reddy made several suggestions on the widening of the roads and requested comprehensive information in two days.
