Bhubaneswar: CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP vice-president Baijayant Panda, who was BJP election in-charge for Delhi, and state BJP president Manmohan Samal termed BJP’s Delhi victory as people’s continued and rising faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
The BJP state headquarters here celebrated the victory in style.

Party workers and senior members distributed sweets among themselves amid fireworks and beating of drums with some even dancing.
Majhi expressed gratitude to the people of Delhi for blessing BJP with unwavering support and affection. “This reflects the trust and confidence of the people of Delhi in the strong leadership of PM Narendra Modi for a developed capital of a developed India. I extend thanks and best wishes to all hardworking workers who contributed towards forming a double-engine govt in Delhi, similar to Odisha,” he added.
BJP state president Manmohan Samal extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to BJP workers for achieving a historic victory in the Delhi assembly elections. “Under the strong leadership and guidance of PM Modi, people of Delhi have shown immense support and faith in BJP,” he added.
He said for the past 27 years, Delhi was in a neglected state with declining development. “Over the last 12 years, AAP govt was mired in various corruptions, leading to extreme dissatisfaction among people of Delhi, which culminated in the elections. Finally, govt has changed today. This victory will inspire and motivate everyone in BJP,” he added.
Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan thanked the people of Delhi for the victory. “Thank you to the residents of Delhi and Odia diaspora for trusting PM Modi’s welfare model and making BJP victorious. Under the corrupt governance of Kejriwal’s AAP, the people of Delhi were in great distress. In the previous govt, the public was deprived of quality roads, clean drinking water, and basic facilities. Today’s mandate signifies the victory of development and the defeat of arrogance,” he added.
Baijayant Panda said people of Delhi have immense faith in PM’s guarantee. “I have been saying during the last two months that BJP will comfortably form the govt with a 2/3rd majority and Delhi will be free of the AAPda disaster of corruption, lies, and stalled development. It has become true now,” he added.
He expressed his gratitude to BJP top brass Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Delhi BJP chief for their outstanding strategy and guidance and lakhs of party workers for their immense hard work,” he added.
