The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the online registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, to complete the registration process. The registration window will remain open until March 7, 2025. Admit cards will be issued by May 1, and NTA has scheduled NEET UG 2025 for May 4, 2025, in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM.

NEET UG 2025: Steps to apply

Candidates can follow these steps to register for NEET UG 2025:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘NEET(UG)-2025 Registration and Online Application Form’.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and fill in the application form.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on submit.
Step 6: Take a printout of your application for future reference.

NEET UG 2025: Application fee

The NEET UG 2025 application fee varies based on category and exam location. Candidates taking the test at a centre in India will pay ₹1,700 for the General category, ₹1,600 for General-EWS and OBC-NCL, and ₹1,000 for SC, ST, PwBD, and Third Gender applicants. For those appearing at exam centres outside India, the fee is ₹9,500.
