NEW DELHI: Rail operations between Bhivpuri Road and Karjat station on the Central line of Mumbai Suburban Railway have faced significant disruptions owing to technical difficulties on Thursday morning.
The affected section, which serves as a crucial rail terminus, is experiencing delays in both directions.
The Mumbai Division of Central Railways has issued a statement: “Due to a technical issue between Bhivpuri Road and Karjat station, All UP/DN locals and Mail/Express are affected. Restoration work is in progress. The inconvenience caused is regretted.”
The interruption has impacted both suburban local trains and long-distance Mail/Express services operating through this route.
