Rahul Dravid in rare Bengaluru showdown after minor collision; but no ‘Indiranagar ka Gunda’ moment here | Bengaluru News
BENGALURU: A video showing former Indian cricket team coach Rahul Dravid engaged in an argument with an auto driver surfaced on Tuesday evening, after a minor collision on Cunningham Road in Bengaluru. No one was injured in the incident.
The video, which quickly gained attention on social media, depicts Dravid and the auto driver exchanging words after their vehicles collided.
While the exchange between the duo became momentarily tense, it remained a verbal disagreement, and there were no physical altercations between the parties involved.
The incident occurred when Dravid’s car collided with the auto rickshaw carrying goods. The two, instead of escalating the situation further, engaged in a conversation to discuss the matter.
No formal complaints were lodged by either Dravid or the auto driver.
Interestingly, the video reminded many of Dravid’s well-known persona as a calm and composed individual, known for his disciplined approach on and off the field.
The incident stands in contrast to his portrayal in the humorous CRED ad, where he is seen in a very different light calling himself ‘Indiranagar ka Gunda’.
