Rourkela: A man died and his younger brother was grievously injured after the clay wall of their house collapsed on them Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Peter Kullu (60) and the injured as Bijay Kullu (45) on Raidihi Demulpada village under Kinjrikela police limits in Sundargarh district. Bijay is admitted to Sundargarh district headquarters hospital.
Their family members rescued and took them to Subdega community health centre, where doctors declared Peter dead. Later, Bijay was taken to the hospital in Sundargarh.
Kinjrikela police is yet to receive MLC from Subdega CHC regarding Peter’s death. “We have not received the medico legal certificate from Subdega CHC regarding death of any man following wall collapse,” said Ajay Jena, IIC, Kinjrikela police station.
