BJP names presidents of 23 district units | Bhubaneswar News
Bhubaneswar: BJP on Saturday announced new appointments for the party’s district president posts across the state on Saturday. The reorganisation covers 23 district presidents, marking a significant reshuffle at the grassroots level.
According to the official list released by BJP, Ishwar Chandra Behera will lead the Balasore district unit, while Pradip Kumar Panda was appointed as president of Balasore North unit. Arupananda Sahoo will head the Bargarh district unit, with Sribacha Behera taking charge of Balangir unit.
Other key appointments include Premananda Mishra for Boudh, Sukanta Biswal for Cuttack, and Ram Narayan Mohanty for Cuttack rural. The party also appointed Arun Kumar Sahoo in Deogarh and Rahas Bihari Behera in Dhenkanal.
In Ganjam region, the party made Saroj Sabat the district president, while Bijay Swain and Nilambar Patra will lead the Aska and Bhanjanagar units, respectively.
