Berhampur: S Suvarnamala (70), mother of Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant, expressed pride after her son received the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman from President Droupadi Murmu during the valedictory session of the convention in Bhubaneswar on Friday. Ravi, hailing from Berhampur in Ganjam district, was among 27 NRIs honoured with the award for their contributions, making him the sole recipient from Odisha.
Ravi was awarded for his contribution to the fields of IT and consulting. “I am very much happy as his son got such a prestigious award from the President in such a big forum held in his own state,” said Suvarnamala.TNN
