No NCP (SP) MP or MLA will join Ajit Pawar-led NCP: Rohit | Mumbai News – Times of India
Mumbai: Speculations were rife in political circles that state NCP president and MP Sunil Tatkare had made an offer to NCP (SP) Lok Sabha members to join his party for better political prospects. Reacting sharply to the speculations, NCP (SP) legislator Rohit Pawar said no MP or legislator owing allegiance to the Sharad Pawar group will quit and join the Ajit Pawar camp.
Meanwhile, Tatkare refuted the reports, saying no one from his party has ever made contact with Sharad Pawar group leaders. NCP (SP) legislator Jitendra Awhad said these rumours were spread to demoralise the rank and file of the party.
