Patna: The Patna district administration has sounded an alert ahead of the BPSC 70th PT Re-Exam, scheduled to take place on Saturday at 10 centres across the city. To ensure a smooth and peaceful conduct of the exam, the administration has issued a set of guidelines, prohibiting unauthorised entry, gatherings, and protests within a 200-metre radius of the exam centres.
According to the guidelines, no person, including parents or guardians, will be allowed to enter the exam centres without authorisation. Additionally, gatherings of five or more people will not be permitted within the specified radius. The administration has also banned the carrying of lethal weapons, explosives, and other hazardous materials.
“To maintain law and order, four static magistrates, 22 zonal magistrates, and seven flying squads have been deployed. The exam centres will be monitored by inspectors and inspector-rank officers from the concerned police stations,” said Patna DM, Chandrashekhar Singh.
The move comes in the wake of protests by candidates demanding a re-examination of the BPSC preliminary exam, which was held on December 13. The candidates staged a dharna at Gardanibagh, pressing for their demands. With the administration leaving no stone unturned to ensure a peaceful exam, candidates are advised to cooperate and follow the guidelines to avoid any inconvenience.
