MANDI: A woman tourist from Mumbai was killed, and two others, including her husband, were injured when their vehicle was struck by boulders at 4 Mile near Mandi on Sunday.
The woman, identified as 28-year-old Priya, died on the spot.
Her husband and the taxi driver were rushed to the government hospital in Mandi.
A police officer said that the couple was returning from Manali.
The entire highway stretch from Mandi to Pandoh is a high landslide zone. Frequent landslides and rockfalls on this stretch result in casualties.
