CM lays stones for key projects in W Champaran | Patna News – Times of India



Patna: During his Pragati Yatra in West Champaran, chief minister Nitish Kumar laid foundation stones for projects worth Rs 297 crore and inaugurated 400 schemes amounting to Rs 752 crore for the district.
Among the new projects, the CM laid the foundation for two water resources department schemes worth Rs 228 crore and a high-level bridge costing Rs 9 crore on the road linking PP embankment and Charuraha under the rural works department. He also laid the foundation for the construction of a residential school for minority community students at a cost of Rs 50 crore.
The CM also inaugurated the District Emergency Response Facilitation and Training Centre, which provides lodging facilities for SDRF teams.
Earlier, Kumar visited exhibition stalls set up by Jeevika Didis at MGNREGA Park in Shikarpur village under the Dhokrahan panchayat. He distributed cheques worth Rs 48 lakh among beneficiaries for setting up plant nurseries.
