Patna: Bihar is emerging as a promising hub for energy investments with the state govt actively promoting an investor-friendly environment, energy minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav said at the Bihar Business Connect. He highlighted Bihar’s vast potential in power distribution, transmission and renewable energy, particularly solar power. The minister urged the companies to capitalise on the state’s robust infrastructure, assuring full support to investors looking to contribute to Bihar’s energy transformation. Citing the success of floating solar power plants in Darbhanga and Supaul, Yadav shared plans for expanding solar energy initiatives, particularly in north Bihar, where numerous water bodies offer ideal locations.
