Madhepura: With the slogan “2025, fir ek bar Nitish”, JD(U) senior leader and state energy minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav said on Sunday that good governance can be expected from a good and spotless leader like the CM.
“Nitish Kumar and enumerated development works carried out across the state during his 18-year long stint,” he said while addressing thousands of JD(U) workers from different parts of Madhepura district who participated in a party meeting held on Ras Bihari High School ground here on Sunday.
He was the chief guest, besides local JD(U) netas Narendra Narayan Yadav, deputy speaker in assembly, and Ramesh Rishideo also addressed the participants.
The energy minister held RJD supremo Lalu Prasad responsible for division of Bihar. “After he landed in jail, he nominated his wife as successor. Lalu Pradad thrived on caste votes but left them at the edge,” he said, urging the people to vote for a better leader and spotless person for good governance in the state.
Yadav recalled the socialist leaders who selected Madhepura to bring a change in the state and national politics. They are unfortunately no more among us but their representative Nitish Kumar is realizing their dream on ground, the deputy speaker said.
