MUMBAI: The traffic police have restricted vehicular movement in central Mumbai from December 5 to 7 for Mahaparinirvan Din. Lakhs of followers of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar will visit Chaityabhoomi on Mahaparinirvan Din, which falls on December 6.
One way/road closures:
- Veer Savarkar Road will be closed from Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Hinduja Hospital for traffic. Local residents can proceed by taking a left turn from Yes Bank Junction and continue through Pandurang Naik Road towards Raja Badhe Chowk.
- The northbound arm of SK Bole Road will be one way from Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Portuguese Church Junction, meaning there will be no entry to traffic from the southbound arm of SK Bole Road.
- Ranade Road, Dnyaneshwar Mandir Road, Jambhekar Maharaj Road, MB Raut Road, Keluskar Road South, and Keluskar Road North will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic.
- TH Kataria Road will be closed for traffic from LJ Road-Shobha Hotel Junction to Aasavari Junction.
Entry to heavy vehicles will be restricted on the following roads:
- a) SVS Road from Mahim Junction to Hardikar Junction.
- b) LJ Road from Mahim Junction to Gadkari Junction.
- c) Gokhale Road from Gadkari Junction to Dhanmil Naka.
- d) Senapati Bapat Road from Mahim railway station to Vadacha Naka.
- e) Tilak Bridge from Dadar TT Circle to Veer Kotwal Udyan to NC Kelkar Road will be closed for vehicular traffic.
Parking prohibited in these areas:
Parking will be prohibited from December 5 to 7 on-

- Ranade Road
- Dnyaneshwar Mandir Road, Jambhekar Maharaj Road
- MB Raut Road
- Keluskar Road South and Keluskar Road North
- NC Kelkar Road
- Pandurang Naik Road
- Vasantrao Rath Road (from SVS Road up to Amigo Hotel)
- SH Paralkar Road (from SS Road to Millennium Building)
- DS Bhabrekar Road (from Suryavanshi Hall Junction to Vision Crest Building)
- Kirti College Lane (from Kirti College Signal to Miramar Society)
- Kashinath Dhuru Road (from Kashinath Dhuru Junction to Aagar Bazaar Circle)
- LJ Road (from Shobha Hotel to Gadkari Junction)
- Kataria Road (from Ganga Vihar Junction to Shobha Hotel and Aasavari Junction)
- Hindu Colony Road numbers 1 to 5 along Rajgruha premises
- Lakhamsi Napoo Road (Shubham Hotel to Ruia College up to Dadkar Ground)
- Khareghat Road No. 5 to Patkar Guruji Chowk
- LJ Road (Ruia Junction to Five Gardens to St Joseph School)
- RA Kidwai Marg (from Arora Junction to Lijjat Papad Junction)
- Nathalal Parekh Road (from St Joseph School to Khalsa College)
- Swami Gyan Jivandas Road (from Swami Narayan Temple to Pritam Hotel).
Parking is available at Senapati Bapat Road at Mahim and Dadar West, Kamgaar Stadium, Indiabulls International Centre at Elphinstone, Kohinoor Square at Kohinoor Mill Compound in Dadar, and Indiabulls One Centre at Jupiter Mill Compound in Elphinstone.
