Cybercriminal Arrested for Rs 1.5 Lakh Fraud in Bhojpur | Patna News – Times of India

Ara: The Cyber police station personnel of Bhojpur district on Tuesday arrested a cybercriminal, Ganashu Kumar, accused of fraudulently withdrawing more than Rs 1.5 lakh from the account of a man on November 20 this year.
Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) and SHO of Ara Cyber police station, Abu Saifee Murtaza, said, “One Amitabh Kumar, a resident of Kapur Diyara village under the Barhara police station in Bhojpur district, lodged a written complaint with the Ara Cyber police station, alleging that Rs 1.58 lakh was fraudulently withdrawn from his bank account. A police team led by myself and assisted by the technical team of the Cyber police station was constituted to investigate the case and arrest the cyber fraudster.”
“Eight ATM cards, two PAN cards, two bank passbooks, two Aadhaar cards, a cellphone and some cash have been recovered from the possession of Kumar,” Murtaza said.
