Rourkela: The body of Budhia Kisan (49), a senior land guard of the town services department of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), has been lying in the morgue of Ispat General Hospital (IGH) for the past five days as his family members and others are protesting in front of IGH demanding a job for the deceased’s kin on compassionate grounds. Sundargarh MP Jual Oram has also joined the protesters.
Sources said on May 30 around 8.10 am, Kisan fell ill near IGH while on his way to work on his bike. He was shifted to the hospital by locals but he passed away around 10.10 am.
