Sambalpur: Bhubaneswar Pradhan will return yet again as Kansa in the 77th edition of Dhanuyatra in Bargarh. Pradhan, who had played Kansa in 1998 and 1999 and again for three years from 2017, got the part in an audition held on Sunday. Earlier, Hrushikesh Bhoi, who was supposed to reprise his role of Kansa, was dropped following bribery allegations. The 11-day festival will start on January 3 and continue till January 13.
“I have a month to prepare for Dhanuyatra. We will have new dialogues, new action, and new topics from mythology that will be presented by us on the stage. We will try to entertain the audience,” Pradhan said.
