Saran: A man was arrested for allegedly smuggling 130 litres of country-made liquor concealing in a gunny bag (sack) on a bike in Saran district on Monday. Police said Arun Rai of Balua village under Doriganj police station was arrested from Mouzampur- Phulwaria village under Awatarnagar police station area. During investigation, the police found that the bike used in the illegal trade was stolen and being used in transportation of liquor.The police have registered a case against him under Prohibition and Excise Act and also seized the bike with liquor.
