MUMBAI: A 60-year-old man, identified as Nafir Sayyad, sustained burn injuries after a fire broke out late Wednesday night in building number 6, MHADA Colony, Bharatnagar, Chembur.
He was taken to the civic-run Sion Hospital with approximately 30% burns on his hands, face, and neck, according to the BMC.
The blaze spread to a gas cylinder in the kitchen of room number 12 on the ground floor of the seven-story building.
