Bengaluru: In a special drive conducted on Monday morning, city traffic police checked 4,559 drivers ferrying school children and found 58 operating under the influence of alcohol.The offenders were booked under the Indian Motor Vehicles Act. Police said they have written to the Regional Transport Office seeking suspension of their driving licences. The enforcement comes amid rising concerns over student safety during school commutes. | TNN
