40 shops gutted in fire at Hyderabad’s Abbas Towers | Hyderabad News

NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at Abbas Towers, Madina Circle in Hyderabad, in the early hours of Monday.
While no casualties have been reported, the blaze caused significant damage to the commercial complex.
Several fire tenders were dispatched to the scene to bring the situation under control.
Additional director of Telangana Fire Disaster Response Emergency and Civil Defence Department, GV Narayana Rao, stated, “We got a fire call at 2.15am. There are around 300 textile and garment shops in these towers. 8 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Around 40 shops were damaged due to fire. The family members of the security guard staying in this building and 12 others from the nearby building have been rescued by our team.”
