MUMBAI: Four people, including a woman and two 10-year-old children, were injured when a fire broke out in a ground-plus-three storey Meghwadi building opposite Shirsagar Hotel in Mumbai’s Lalbaug area on Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported at around 5am. The fire, which started in a house on the third floor of the building, was confined to domestic utensils, kitchen goods, clothes, and other household items.
The injured were sent to Masina and Kasturba hospitals for treatment. Kunda Rane (48), Atharva Rane (10), and Vaishnavi Rane (10) are currently being treated at Kasturba Hospital. Aniket Dikvalkar (27) was taken to Masina Hospital, where his condition is reported to be critical.
