3 kids find new homes outside state | Bhubaneswar News

Jharsuguda: Three children found new homes after the district specialised adoption agency (SAA) handed them over to three couples from Kerala, Karnataka and Jharkhand during a ceremony on Tuesday.
The adoption ceremony took place in the office of Jharsuguda district collector Aboli Sunil Naravane. The district SAA, since its registration in 2017-18, has completed 29 adoption cases involving 30 children.
Parents expressed gratitude to the district administration for extending full support at every step. “We are very happy today that we have a child,” said a parent from Karnataka.
A parent from Kerala said they had applied to adopt a child two years back. “We feel so blessed that people now call me the mother of a baby girl,” she said.
The woman from Jharkhand said they already have a daughter but wanted a boy. “So I had applied in 2021 and finally got my son today. I am very happy as my family is complete now,” she said.
