Keonjhar: Police on Wednesday detained a 24-year-old man for allegedly molesting a 15-month-old baby in Keonjhar district on Tuesday.
The accused reportedly committed the crime around 7 pm when the baby was playing. Upon hearing the infant’s cries, he fled the scene. The baby was initially rushed to a hospital in critical condition. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was later transferred to another hospital for further treatment.
The baby’s grandfather filed a police complaint on Wednesday, following which the accused was detained.TNN
