Mumbai: In a breakthrough, the Mumbai Cyber Police have arrested a 21-year-old man from Mira Road for his involvement in an elaborate digital arrest scam that tricked a man into paying Rs 5.88 crore after falsely accused in a money laundering and human trafficking case. The fraudsters, posing as law enforcement officials, created fake legal documents to coerce the victim into making the hefty payments. The South Cyber cell on Thursday arrested Jouhad Khan. tnn
