2 dead, 1 injured as bike falls off bridge | Bhubaneswar News

Keonjhar: Two persons died and another was critically injured after their motorcycle fell off a bridge near Raigoda village in Keonjhar district on Friday evening.
The deceased were Sanjay Sethi and Biranchi Giri, both aged 25, from Jaladiha village. The injured, Tima Sethi (22), is undergoing treatment at the Keonjhar district headquarters hospital.
The accident occurred around 8 pm when the trio was returning home from Keonjhar. Police said the rider lost control on Kamagaon bridge, causing the two-wheeler to plunge down. Police teams from Sadar and Nayakote stations rushed to the spot.
Sanjay and Biranchi died on the spot, while Tima was rescued and taken to hospital. “The injured person is now stable,” said Kishor Chandra Pradhan, IIC of Nayakote police station. “We have registered a case at Sadar police station and are investigating the cause of the accident.”
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
