18L women to get 1st instalment today: Parida | Bhubaneswar News

Sambalpur: Deputy chief minister Pravati Parida said here on Friday that around 18 lakh beneficiaries will receive their first instalment of Subhadra Yojana on Saturday.
The fourth phase of disbursement will bring the total number of beneficiaries to 98 lakh since the scheme’s launch on Sept 17 last year. Distribution of the second instalment is scheduled on March 8 on International Women’s Day during a ceremony in Jajpur.
Speaking to reporters while inaugurating a senior citizen pilgrimage scheme, Parida addressed concerns about beneficiaries facing National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) issues. “Of the 3.38 lakh applications with NPCI-related problems, around 68,000 have been resolved,” she said. “The remaining cases will be cleared by March 8, ensuring no eligible beneficiary is left out.”
Women who missed the first instalment due to NPCI complications will receive both their first and second instalments together on March 8, the minister said.
